Phil Hogan

European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development

Phil Hogan is an Irish politician who currently serves as European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development since November 2014. Prior to becoming Commissioner, he represented the Carlow–Kilkenny constituency in Dáil Éireann as Teachta Dála (TD) between 1989 and 2014. During that time, he held numerous positions, serving as the Chairperson of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party until 2001, as the Minister of State at the Department of Finance, and as the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government from March 2011 to July 2014

Luis Planas

Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and food.

He has a degree in Law from the University of Valencia and an Extraordinary Degree Award. Labor and Social Security Inspector. In 1980 he entered by opposition to the Labor Inspectorate and was sent to Córdoba. In the general elections of 1982 he is elected deputy to Cortes for Córdoba. During this stage he was a member of the Constitutional Commission and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, spokesman for the Socialist Parliamentary Group on European Affairs and member of the Joint Committee of Parliament-European Parliament.

Between 1986 and 1993 he was appointed and later elected as a Member of the European Parliament. He is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Institutional Affairs Committee and member of the Delegation for the relationship with the US Congress. UU

He was a founding member in 1990 of the Transatlantic Policy Network.

Vice-president of the Foreign Affairs Committee (1987-1989) and vice-president of the European Socialist Group (1991-1993). In 1993 he was Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Junta de Andalucía and the following year, Minister of the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía and member of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union. During this stage he is also Deputy for Cordoba to the Parliament of Andalusia. In 1996 he was senator to Cortes by autonomic designation, but at the end of that same year he returned to Brussels as Cabinet director of the vice-president of the European Commission Manuel Marín where he was responsible for relations with the Mediterranean, Latin America and Asia.

From 1999 to 2004 he was appointed director of the Cabinet of the Commissioner of the European Commission Pedro Solbes, responsible for economic and monetary affairs. That year he was appointed Ambassador of Spain in Morocco. From October 1, 2010 and until December 31, 2011, he was the permanent representative ambassador to the European Union.

On May 7, 2012, he returned to Spain to be appointed Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and the Environment of the Junta de Andalucía. On March 1, 2014 he joined the European Economic and Social Committee as general secretary.

On June 6, 2018, he was appointed as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in the new socialist government of Pedro Sánchez.

Rodrigo Sánchez Haro

Councillor for agriculture, Fisheries and Rural development of the Junta de Andalucía

Rodrigo Sánchez Haro was born in Turre (Almería) in 1969. He holds a degree in Law and Labor Sciences, as well as a diploma in Social Graduate, and has completed master's degrees in Local Public Law; Town Planning and Management; and Legal Practice and Advocacy.

Regional deputy since 2015, has been a spokesperson for the Committee on Employment, Enterprise and Commerce in the Andalusian Parliament, as well as a member of the Commissions for Development and Environment and Territorial Planning. Speaker in the modification of the Law of Urban Planning of Andalusia (LOUA), was also commissioned in the parliamentary committee of research of training courses.

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development has also been Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Turre in the periods 1999-2003 and 2007-2011, and councilor in the opposition between 2011 and 2015. He has practiced law with his own office until 2015.

Isabel Ambrosio

Mayor of Córdoba.

With 29 years (1999) is appointed advisor to the municipal group of the PSOE in the City of Cordoba. In 2000 she was named Secretary of Organization of the PSOE of Córdoba and in the provincial congress of 2004 she was appointed secretary general of the party in the province.

In 2004 she became deputy of the Parliament of Andalusia for the province of Córdoba. In the parliament he chaired the Commission on Disability and acted as rapporteur of the PSOE in the Law on the Promotion and Defense of Competition of Andalucía. Later he served as vice president of the Interior Commission and was spokesman for the Socialist Group in the Tourism Commission, Commerce and Sports

On May 20, 2008, she submitted her resignation to the act of deputy of the Parliament of Andalusia, obtained in the regional elections for the circumscription of Córdoba, date in which she was appointed Delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía in the province of Córdoba.

On January 20, 2015, she left her position as a delegate of the Board to attend the municipal elections in Córdoba for the PSOE On June 13, 2015 she was elected mayor of the city of Córdoba.

Olga San Jacinto is the Director of Google America. Its main objectives are focused on increasing revenues and establishing Google's mobile strategy in Latam and of caring for relations with the different key industries in the region and with the respective governments of each country.

Previously, Olga San Jacinto was Director of Business and International Strategic Alliances of Google, and previously she was Director of the Finance, Local and Entertainment Division of Google Spain, being the oldest member of the top management team of Google Spain. She has a great experience in the financial sector, Olga has worked for more than 14 years in Spain and the United States, in entities such as "Bank of New York" or "Abbey National Bank".

He belongs to the Council of the NGO Children's Charity focused on the development of disadvantaged areas through education and is Patron of the Jerusalem Foundation, whose objective is to promote the universality of the cultures of the city of Jerusalem and its economic and social development. Olga San Jacinto has an important teaching experience at the Complutense University of Madrid, ESIC, the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the IESE. She is also a mentor at the Instituto de Empresa.

Due to her important career, she has been selected to be a member of the Women and Leadership Forum organized by the European Union and the Community of Madrid. He is currently part of the independent advisory board of Evo Bank, which belongs to the North American fund Apollo Management Internacional LLP, which in this way strengthens its Board of Directors and its executive body.

Eduardo Baamonde

With an extensive career in the agri-food and financial sectors, Eduardo Baamonde Noche (Villalba [Lugo], 1964) is elected President of Cajamar Caja Rural on April 27, 2016.

Agronomist from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Master in European Communities from the same University, in 2014 and 2015 he was a member of the Cooperative Credit Bank, member of its Executive Committee and Chairman of the Audit Committee.

From 2000 to 2015 he was general director of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias of Spain, vice president of the European Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives (COCEGA), representative body of the European cooperative sector, and administrator of CCAE Quality. Previously, he had been director of the Brussels office of the Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Spain, where he advised Spanish MEPs on the European Union's Agriculture Committee and participated in numerous auditions on such important issues as the CAP and the different CMOs .

In addition to having participated in many conferences, seminars and conferences both national and international, he has collaborated in different books and studies on the agri-food and cooperative sector, among which the volume "The role of agri-food cooperatives in the world economy" of the collection stands out of Estudios Mediterráneo Económico published by Cajamar Caja Rural. He also teaches strategic planning in the Master of Management of Agri-Food Companies of the LAFER

Ricardo Domínguez García-Baquero (Madrid, 1970) es ingeniero agrónomo en la especialidad de Ingeniería Rural por la Universidad de Córdoba, así como máster en Administración de Empresas por la UNED. Ha cursado alta Dirección de la Cadena Agroalimentaria y de Instituciones Sociales en el Instituto Internacional San Telmo. Desde septiembre de 2013 era viceconsejero de Medio Ambiente y Ordenación del Territorio.
Anteriormente, desde julio de 2012, Ricardo Domínguez desempeñó el cargo de gerente del Campus de Excelencia Internacional en Agroalimentación ceiA3, liderado por la Universidad de Córdoba. El nuevo viceconsejero ha sido también director del Gabinete de la Ministra de Medio Ambiente y Medio Rural y Marino (2010-2011) y director general de Industrias y Promoción Agroalimentaria de la Consejería de Agricultura y Pesca de la Junta (2005-2010). Specialist in user research, the last 3 years dedicated to Smart Agro in the R & D Telefonica R & D Chile Research and Development project, where customers, technologies and the market were explored in Chile, and leading during 2017 - 2018 the development of the applied water efficiency research product together with a team of programmers, data scientists and agronomic advisors.
Currently working on the development of the Smart Agro in Andalusia in the FIWARE Zone of Malaga and coordinating the water efficiency pilots in Latam for the TEF + FAO collaboration project in Telefónica I + D Chile.
FIWARE Zone is a joint initiative of the Junta de Andalucía and Telefónica to support and promote smart solutions in different sectors such as SmartCities, Industria 4.0. or Smartagrifood. To do this, it uses the European FIWARE standard, promoted within the EU, following the Andalucía Smart 2020 strategy.
